Longtime Head for the Cure supporter, Novocure, featured GBM survivor DJ Stewart in one of their recent patient spotlights. DJ utilized the innovative Tumor-Treating Fields technology by wearing the Optune device for 2 years. Last year, DJ joined the Head for the Cure staff as its Community Outreach Coordinator. In his role he continues to not only advocate for himself but all brain tumor and brain cancer patients across the country. DJ and Head for the Cure have a lot of awesome plans for 2023 so stay tuned!
